Primary Care Physician
Ivette Cardona Ruelle, M.D.
Dr. Cardona Ruelle has loved helping people and spent a lot of time in and out of the hospitals with lung issues as a child. Dr. Cardona Ruelle knew as a young child that she could help bring a smile to the faces of the other patients because the nurses that cared for her brought a smile to her as a young child. She always knew that she would grow up to become a Doctor after these life experiences.
Dr. Cardona Ruelle is a graduate of the Centro de Estudios Universitarios Xochicalco in Ensenada, Mexico and completed her Residency at the Hospital Episcopal Guayama. Treating and caring for her patients as family is one of her priorities as a Primary Care Physician. She connects with her patients on a deeper level and gets to know them as a whole person holding their hand every step of the way. Dr. Cardona Ruelle wants the NeighborMD patients to know that they can count on her to be there for them and that she is available 24/7.
Dr. Cardona Ruelle loves to travel, experience other cultures and explore the different foods. She moved from Wisconsin to Florida 5 years ago. Florida is home to Disney, the Happiest Place on Earth and she knew this was where she had to end up. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family. They often spend time fishing and hanging out at the beach.
